Fourth of July Festivities in Ocean City, NJ

Patriotic Bike Parades: 9am-12pm
This family-friendly event typically starts in the morning. Decorate your bikes, strollers, and wagons with patriotic colors and join the parade.

  1. Bike Parade Sponsored by the Gardens Civic Association: Registration 9:00 a.m. at the Longport Bridge parking lot. Parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
  2. Bike Parade Sponsored by the South OC Improvement Association, City of Ocean City & the Chamber of Commerce. Registration 9:00 a.m. at 40th & Asbury Ave. Parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
  3. Bike Parade Sponsored by the Riviera Neighborhood. Registration at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosemar Lane Park. Parade begins at Noon.

Kite Flying Competition: 7pm
The fun continues at 7:00 pm with a kite-flying competition. The competition is free to enter, and open to all participants!

Ocean City Pops FREE Outdoor Concert: 8pm
The Ocean City Pops will perform a free outdoor concert at 8:00 p.m. at Carey Stadium, 6th & Boardwalk. Their legendary local orchestra will perform patriotic classics and audience favorites in honor of our nation’s birthday. Bring a beach chair or blanket to sit on the field, and there will be seating available in the bleachers.

Fireworks: 9pm
A spectacular boardwalk fireworks display tops off the evening at 9:00 p.m! Watch from the boardwalk or the beach.
